In this class you will learn how to creatively problem solve and tackle artistic challenges, while learning life long skills such as persistence, reflection, observation, and self critique. As this is an introductory class, you will begin the course with learning basic media and techniques and end the year with more challenging assignments. This course will set you up with a great foundation of skills and media experiences to help you in higher level courses.

Facial Features Practice Drawing​ - using the Facial Features Notes as a guide, complete 2 face drawings

Facial Features Quiz - choose a male or female to recreate using notes and math fractions learned in class; must place the following features in the correct location and make them the correct width - eye opening (with tear duct, iris, pupil), hairline, eyebrows, nose, mouth, chin shadow, and ears

Fabric Handout - print both pages and do your best to draw and shade the fabric

Proportion Man - Follow instructions on the bottom of the handout to construct accurate proportions of the human body. Read front and back first before beginning. Only need to draw 1 man.
